Type&Texture

This is a 24 page booklet of word based puzzles and interactivity, aimed at those who travel by train in Dublin and spend their journey scrolling through social media. It directly opposes the short-term gratification social media provides through images and videos and instead, promotes long-term gratification through typographic based puzzles. This allows the reader to engage themselves in a task instead of existing in autopilot for the duration of their journey. It uses textures of various train stations in Dublin to ground the reader in their environment instead of mentally existing in the digital space.

The back of the book contains a selection of stickers which are a collage of found typography from Dublin’s train stations. These stickers can be placed in the book spreads to exercise your creative mind, or placed elsewhere in your environment.
